Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts program prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills required for food production and service occupations in commercial food service establishments. Students completing this program will possess the technical knowledge and skills required for planning, selecting, storing, purchasing, preparing and serving quality food products. Nutritive values, safety and sanitation procedures, use of commercial equipment, serving techniques and management of food establishments will also be studied. Throughout the Culinary Arts instructional program, students will develop advanced critical thinking, applied academic, career development, life and employability skills, business, economic, and leadership skills required for culinary arts occupations.
The Culinary Arts Career and Technical Education program is delivered as a coherent sequence of courses designed to offer students knowledge and skills that meet the needs of the workplace. The Professional Skills developed by business and industry leaders across Arizona are integrated throughout the program. Culinary Arts utilizes a delivery system made up of four integral parts: formal/technical instruction, experiential learning, supervised occupational experience, and leadership, social, civic, and career skills through participation in the state-recognized Career and Technical Student Organization, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
The Culinary Arts instructional program prepares students for entry-level employment, further training, and/or post-secondary education for these and other occupations: Line Cook, Cook, Prep Cook, Pantry Cook, Banquet Cook, Server, Server Assistant, Food Runner, Busser, Dishwasher, Counter, and Cashier.
Construction Technologies
The Construction Technologies program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to residential and commercial building construction and remodeling. The Construction Technologies program includes instruction in construction equipment and safety; site preparation and layout; construction estimating; blueprint reading; building codes; framing; masonry; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; electrical and mechanical systems; interior and exterior finishing; and plumbing.
The Construction Technologies program is delivered as a coherent sequence of courses designed to offer students knowledge and skills that meet the need of the workplace. The Professional Skills developed by business and industry leaders across Arizona are integrated throughout the program. Students learn how to get along with their team members, to make critical decisions, to solve problems, to develop respect, and to be successful in their chosen occupation. Construction Technologies students also develop leadership, social, civic, and career skills through their participation in the state-recognized Career and Technical Student Organization SkillsUSA.

Law and Public Safety
The Law and Public Safety program prepares individuals to apply theories and practices of organization management and criminal justice to the administration of public law enforcement agencies and operations. The Law and Public Safety program includes instruction in law enforcement history and theory, operational command leadership, administration of public police organizations, labor relations, incident response strategies, legal and regulatory responsibilities, budgeting, public relations, and organizational leadership.
The Law and Public Safety Career and Technical Education program is delivered as a coherent sequence of courses designed to offer students knowledge and skills that meet the needs of the workplace. Electronic Technologies
The Electronic Technologies instructional program prepares students to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of electrical, electronics and communication engineers. Includes instruction in electrical circuitry, prototype development and testing, systems analysis and testing, systems maintenance, instrument calibration, and report preparation.
The Electronic Technologies instructional program is interwoven with practical and engaging activities and projects that repair, test, adjust, or install electronic equipment, such as industrial controls, transmitters, and antennas. Students completing the Electronic Technologies program will further understand advances in electronic technologies, energy bands with electronics, optical properties, and evolving nanotechnology related to circuits.
The Electronic Technologies Career and Technical Education program is delivered as a coherent sequence of courses designed to offer students knowledge and skills that meet the needs of the workplace. The Professional Skills developed by business and industry leaders across Arizona are integrated throughout the program. Electronic Technologies students develop leadership, social, civic, and career skills through participation in the state-recognized Career and Technical Student Organizations, SkillsUSA or FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).
