A note from the Pricipal
Welcome to Bisbee High School, home of the Pumas!
Bisbee High School was built in 1959, replacing the old high school on Clawson Avenue which opened in 1914. We have the oldest continual use ballpark in the United States. Bisbee holds the distrinction of annually competing in the oldest rivalry game in Arizona with their football game against Douglas High School.
I come from a long line of Bisbee Pumas. My whole family are Bisbee High School graduates, starting with my grandfather and ending with my daughter. I graduated in 1978 and later received by B.A. in Secondary Education from Arizona State University completing my student teaching at Brighton Polytechnic University (now Brighton University) in Brighton, England. Since then I have completed a Masters in Secondary Education with emphasis in administration, Masters in Recreation, Sports and Tourism with an emphasis in Sports Management, and a Masters in Biology. I hold certifications in Adult Education, Secondary 6-12, Professional Principal prek-12, with endorsements in prek-12 Physical Education, Chemistry, Biology,General Science and Structured English Immersion.
I am currently the Principal as well as the Dual Enrollment Biology Instructor. Again, I welcome you to Bisbee High School and look forward to being a part of your educational journey.
Remember, Once a Puma, Always a Puma!
